Mercury geothermal power plant – Ngatamariki

Occasionally, power plants need to be completely shut down for high-level maintenance. Euro Scaffolds worked with Mercury to provide scaffolding for the Ngatamariki plant upgrade.

We engineered over 100 multi-purpose platforms for a variety of access points, such as end cap access and value access, all among extensive pipe work. All the subcontractors, including loggers and engineers, required different access points so we worked closely with them to meet their needs.

Geothermal power plants are hazardous work areas, so safety is paramount. Mercury know how highly we rate safety and that, combined with our experience working on similar sites around Central North Island, is why we’re a preferred partner.
